TheraisaK.com announces the release of freshly redesigned website and information documents

TheraisaK.com continues to offer professional Graphic Design and Creative Services at affordable prices in 2009 with new portfolio examples, quote request forms and information packages.

Brantford, ON – A freshly redesigned website at http://www.theraisak.com showcases the latest 2009 creative portfolio samples offered by Brantford, Ontario based Graphic Designer and Creative Artist Theraisa K. The website now provides custom and professional: Graphic Design, Web Design, Photo Editing, Digital/Traditional Fine Arts and Literary Services all at unbeatably affordable prices.

“It’s been a busy year for me so far - more so than previous years,” owner Theraisa K muses. “With every new year, I attempt to release a fresh portfolio featuring my latest and greatest works. My new portfolio website, so far, features: print advertisement designs, digital illustrations, traditional acrylic paintings, magazine layout and designs, logo designs and just recently I’ve added “The Silly Book” my second illustrated and authored children’s book to the line-up. More will be added to the portfolio as projects are completed and samples are made available.”

Along with the release of new portfolio samples, TheraisaK.com has also released a selection of information documents - free for any website visitor and/or client to download - including brand new 2009 project quote request forms.

“I’ve added a variety of free downloadable PDF documents to the website that new and returning clients can download, fill out and send back to me for a free quote on their next project.” Theraisa announces, “I’ve highlighted the most requested areas including: graphic/print design, web design, logo design, fine & digital arts, photo editing, writing & editing plus an additional request form for any service or project not included in the aforementioned. I’ve also added additional documents that may be of interest to clients including: 2009 service & price listings, non-disclosure statements, general terms & conditions as well as information on how I operate and how I price projects.”

TheraisaK.com was unleashed in early 2007 after being re-invented from a former design based project: Whippitup Designs (formed in 1998). Theraisa, herself, has been providing low cost (as well as free) services to independent musicians, artists, companies and individuals since 1996.

“I ran three start-ups in my teen years,” Theraisa begins, “Aid For Bands later known as AFBPromotions (1996-2004) which catered to promoting and marketing un-known musical talents world-wide; Space Junkies Magazine (2002-2006) an online magazine geared towards showcasing independent and underground art, music, fashion, film and entertainment; and lastly Whippitup Designs (1998-presently TheraisaK.com) which focused on promoting others through Graphic Design and Web Design. I provided all these services for free.”

“In my early 20’s as I finished my last year of a 3 year Graphic Design diploma course in college, I started to realize that “the real world” was catching up to me.” Theraisa continues, “Financial means were becoming more important to my own daily existence, so I could no longer offer my services for free. However, I vowed to myself that I wasn’t going to be another price-gouging-hourly-wage-setting Graphic Designer. Instead I wanted to continue on my trek to offer affordable services built around my client’s budget and needs, but also didn’t leave me with empty pockets come bill time.”

Theraisa offers price reductions to TheraisaK.com card holding members (generally current and past: sponsors, supporters, advertisers as well as clients) and will barter and exchange services under certain conditions. In the future, Theraisa plans on working with new and returning clients in an array of design and art related fields. As for the TheraisaK.com website, it will be continuously updated with latest samples, news, and information pertaining to the works and services by Theraisa K.
